As a person who enjoys taking risks with her fashion choices, I thought it was about time to catch my hair up on the fun and try a new color. In researching the type of coloring I wanted, I found and received a lot of recommendations to try the popular bayalage hair coloring technique. Quickly I reached out to a former colleague who's not only one of Tampa's top industry artists she's also worked with celebrities, Nereida Padilla freelancer and ceo of Hair and Makeup by Nereida. Once we decided on a fab violet hue we scheduled an appointment when met at the salon she co-owns, Trends Studio Hair & Makeup Lounge in Valrico, fl and so it began. Ultimately, I was really pleased with the results and can't wait to intensify that violet tone in the new year as my 2018 'Glow-Getter' do. Watch the video to see a behind the scenes look at the process and the final outcome.
A notable tip Nereida has shared with me is, for first timers with bayalage coloring having dark hair will require more stripping of your natural hair color and possibly more than 1 appointment to gain the results you want. More importantly, proper hair care after the process is key to maintaining the luster. I would honestly recommend contactingHair & Makeup by Nereida to schedule your consult and get rates.
Of all the things that have changed this year; Did your skin care habits also change? I've heard many ladies no longer put on makeup and I think that's completely fine. However; I would not advise you to stop taking care of your skin.
